Plateau Stories

This series was shot during an exquisite period before the pandemic. It came together only in retrospect. Each photo tells of a stalwart friend, lover, seer. The second image in the series was taken in the reflection of a broken mirror on Rue de Bullion, where I used to live. I have not been to the Plateau Mont-Royal in five years. I miss that area, but I'm afraid to return.

ABOUT THE CREATOR

Judy Thorn was raised by a family of working class artists in the US, the UK, and Canada. She attended Concordia University and currently lives in Portland, Oregon. Her written and photographic work is formed as a shield for the future.
