T4T

by Ashton Diduck

when I
felt
it didn’t seem right
the way
it tasted unseen
the way
memory is sweet
in the lightest parts
of me
made explicit
only in the shadow
or reflection:
opaque outline
represents
its fundamental
structure—
essentially everything
inside & out
but
Earthsea shatters
by touch
by close proximity
to the quivering line—
searing
hot flash
bent knee
prayer-fuck
looking

up
up

up
