Chicago: old and new by Rohan Quinby
[wooslider slider_type="slides" slide_page="chicago" thumbnails="true" direction_nav="true" limit=5] Chicago doesn't disappoint me. I never have the feeling, as I do when I visit New York, that I have missed out on some tantalizing place that has vanished only recently. Chicago's heydays seem so distant, it's as though there is nothing to lament. And whereas Manhattan appears to be transforming itself into an enormous shopping mall, there is a haunting, and I think unique, co-presence of the old and new in Chicago that I find very beautiful.
