Deborah VanSlet is a long time video producer and emerging writer. A native Montrealer, she launched her media art career in 1989 with Sick World, a video series combining performance, stories and stats. Her experimental videos, including How to Spot an Anorexic, Weather Permitting, and Rules of the Road have screened in festivals, and airplanes, around the world. She also produced and hosted CKUT-FM’s Dykes on Mykes for 16 years. @vanslet
