A PERFECT PAIR
How do you know when a pairing is perfect? For me, not only should both individual elements be strong on their own, but together, they should enhance one another. The art of recommendation is built on this idea, that having consumed one body of work; a song, movie, book, et cetera, you now carry that with you into the next. These experiences impact each other, and ideally, you’re able to get more out of the both of them from their relationship. Here, I have compiled the specific reasons that you might enjoy some of the works selected in issue 48, that apply to my recommendations as well. Maybe something unexpected will check a few boxes, so consider checking them out!
